What is Boundary's Plan after Kickstarter is funded?
Since Boundary launched its campaign on May 15th it has raised nearly $700,000 thanks to almost 3,000 backers. The Kickstarter community support breathes life into Boundary’s Prima System! Boundary’s Team has begun production to make sure you get your Prima System before the end of the year! Surveys will be sent on July 14th 2017 to confirm your color choice and shipping information. A limited release of Prima System accessories will be available only to backers in this survey — you won’t want to miss out!
Boundary is proud to be the first Kickstarter to offer sustainable products using the bluesign system and thank you for your support! Backers have offered up suggestions and ideas to enhance The Prima System, which we are currently working on. Boundary Begins Production Of Prima System

Since May 15th Boundary has successfully raised over $550,000 with the support of over 2,100 backers. The team at Boundary and its bluesign® partners have started procuring fabrics in light of the massive and still ongoing support. Founded by industry veterans, Boundary is dedicated to holistically approaching the supply chain from fiber creation and on up to the finished product. Our team is the first brand to launch on Kickstarter using the bluesign® system to manufacture its products because it cuts marketing noise — acting as a voice for the environment and the consumer. Boundary’s ambitious sustainability goals will remove mills or factories not implementing the following:
Water Use + Recycling: Water emission control includes the return of purified water into the water cycle and reducing of the aquatic environment impact to a minimum. The bluesign® system specifies the requirements regarding water pollution control. Taking account of local conditions, the bluesign® system helps only water re-entering the natural circulation of water that complies its criteria.
Sustainable Resource Consumption: textile companies reduce their ecological footprint consisting of energy and material input per kilogram of manufactured textile products. In other words: The bluesign® system helps optimizing the process efficiency by minimizing both energy and material input.
Air Emission + Recycling: The aim is to reduce CO2 emissions within the company’s sphere of influence as well as during the subsequent process steps. Exhaust air has to be cleaned and recycled by adequate environmental technology. This is the essential condition in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to make an active contribution to climate protection.
Occupational Health & Safety: When using chemicals during the textile production process, a careful and safe handling with regard to the employees’health is vital. Therefore, the bluesign® system makes training programs for employees concerning the storage and handling of harmful substances obligatory. Occupational health and safety also includes the protection against environmental pollution such as dust and noise.

Boundary Backers, we are down to the final weeks of our campaign and what a ride it has been. We're currently ready to give our bluesign textile mills and factories the green light to begin production of The PRIMA SYSTEM. After our last stretch goal ,100's of backers voiced their opinions and there's been overwhelming support for a rainfly. We have designed a waterproof packable rainfly that packs into a self contained pocket. If you have comments or suggestions, reach out on our comments section.

Backers, thank you so much for the support. We have reached our goal to meet fabric minimums. Currently the factory is prototyping samples and will release the new color of The Prima System this weekend.

The Boundary community has grown immensely over the past week, with hundreds of new backers pledging their support. This growth has allowed us to offer another colorway. Hundreds of members in our community voiced their opinion's to help us choose Stone Gray.
We are excited to begin our journey using bluesign fabrics and bluesign factories to produce the Prima system.
